Bakhtiar Amin

Dr. Amin is an experienced interventional nephrologist specializing in dialysis access management. He performs minimally invasice procedures to treat dysfunctional vascular accesses, providing critical care and maintenance to those with a dialysis access. Dr. Amin is the medical director of Azura Vascular Care Cincinnati. Dr. Amin earned his medical degree from Hawler Medical University in Erbil, Iraq. He went on to complete his internship at the Directorate of Health of Erbil, in Erbil, Iraq, and residency and fellowship at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Amin serves on the ASDIN Advisor Board for PD Catheter Placement and is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. He is board certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
